5 Years of GO

We’ve been down this road before. I whine and impatiently wait every time Target introduces another celebrity line. It’s part of the struggle that comes from being a baller on a budget.

That being said, I am excited to share with you the following: Target is celebrating their five-year anniversary of its fashion-forward, affordably-priced GO International program with a collection that features 34 dresses from 17 past GO International designers. Ranging in price from $24.99 to $44.99, the GO International Designer Collective will be available March 13 through April 10, 2011 at most Target stores.

Featuring dresses from Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen and Tucker.

Tucker For Target This Summer/Fall

In April you heard me gush over the future release of Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target, wondering when I should start standing in line and how many passers-by I would have to push out of my way to get my hands on that beautiful collection. The official date: Sunday September 12, 2010!

Also to be launched that date is an exclusive jewelry line for Target by Temple St. Clair. Can I get a Woot-Woot?

I Heart The Next Ikea Catalog

Because I am moving and packing up all of my belonging, I have come to the realization that my apartment is made up of a 25-25-50 ratio of origin. 25% Target, 25% Ikea, and 50% hand-me-down. Can you say baller on a budget?

However now that I’ve seen some of the photos for the next Ikea catalog, I am tempted to adjust these ratios in the Scandinavians favor. Wow!

Tucker For Target This Summer

Geeez, it’s like pulling teeth to get the launch date for Target’s Go International collection Tucker by Gaby Basora. I’ve read press releases, tweets, and blog posts with no luck. Do you know the date?

Liberty’s Mad Rush

Liberty of London for Target came out yesterday but when I got there (about 3pm) everything was gone!!!

There must have been a mad rush. The aftermath left a couple of mugs, one or two clothing items in irregular sizes, and a solitary pair of flip-flops.

How disappointing. I hope they restock…

Liberty of London for Target

I like the whimsical prairie feeling of these faded florals, the look inspires me not to brush my hair. I’m not going to go out and buy a jumpsuit but I am pretty excited for Liberty of London at Target.

Rodarte for Target

I think I love this Rodarte for Target number. It’s described as a limited edition line of modern feminine pieces made for layering. Makes me think of ballerinas.

Only thing… the model wearing the dress looks like a tragic stripper. She kind of reminds me of Marla Singer from Fight Club.

I guess I am just going to have to go to Target and discover the truth for myself.

Side Note: I’ve got a major girl crush on Helena Bonham Carter!
