Paint Your Own Plates!

I am obsessed with the idea that I can decorate my own dishes! I have visions of geometric patterns and art deco style bird prints streaming through my mind, but until I get a porcelain marker in my hand, I have no idea how easy it will be to execute. According to A Merry Mishap and the Michael’s product description, all you do paint and bake, which gives me hope.

I am going to hit up the dollar store for some cheap plates I can use to test with, and when my family comes up this weekend, we can have a plate decorating activity. I have a sneaking suspicion I am going to have a rapidly growing dish set…
