What do people who were once paid to be creative for a living do when they’re laid off? They get creative with their own lives. Lemonade is an inspirational film about 16 advertising professionals who lost their jobs and found their calling, encouraging people to listen to that little voice inside their head that asks, “What if?”
Has anyone seen this documentary? I think I need to.
I know not everyone loves advertising the way I do- but our lives have been shaped around buying power and “individual choice” for years. And marketing and advertising is what gets presidents elected- that’s enough to make a person curious, right?
The AMC website has (or at least had) a bunch of mini-interviews with once big name ad execs in support of Mad Men. Something to look into…
