The 1950’s Never Tasted So Good!

Tonight I will be celebrating the holidays like it’s 1954!
To be more specific, every Thursday I participate in a Dinner & Movie. Tonight my guests will be watching White Christmas (1954) starring Mr. Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye.
I will be serving Moscow Mules, a cocktail created in 1941 which drove the sales of both ginger beer and Smirnoff Vodka through the 50’s.
We will dine upon Beef Stroganoff, a Russian dish, that exploded in popularity in the 1950’s dinner party scene.
And finish our meal with Frosty Orange Jell-O Cups. Jell-O was created in the 1840’s and according to Wikipedia by the 1950’s more intense and “wild” versions of the venerable strawberry, raspberry and cherry were being introduced. Learn more about Jell-O here and here.
Any ideas or tips are gladly appreciated- it’s not easy being themed!
